NetHui 2019 has ended
Welcome to NetHui - New Zealand’s favourite Internet gathering! We are looking forward to seeing you on 3-4 October, as we have so many things to discuss!

Please note that the NetHui registration doesn’t cover Partners Day on 2 October, which is a day full of events, forums, workshops, and round tables hosted by partner organisations. You are welcome to attend these events, you just need to register for each separately, using the registration link. You do not need a NetHui ticket to attend Partners Day events.

Get Your Copyright Game On

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The name of the game for this session is fun, pure and simple. Join us to learn how to play the best games about copyright available in the world today, including The Copyright Game (developed in the UK), Datopolis (an ‘Open Data’ board game), and The Academic Publishing Trap … led by Tohatoha’s CEO, Mandy Henk, with assistance from associates Melanie Johnson (Copyright Officer at University of Auckland) and Victoria Leachman (Rights Manager at Te Papa). In playing these games, you’ll learn more about the rules of copyright legislation and grow in your understanding of Creative Commons principles as you apply your knowledge to real-world copyright scenarios, challenges and conundrums, all while having fun and some friendly competition.
